Self-Fulfilling Prophecies

A good friend of mine named Larry once told me a story about a guy he knew who was prone to anxiety. The man was a drug addict whose anxiety was exacerbated by his addiction to cocaine. One late night, as the man was driving, he noticed a cop car up ahead and realized he was going a little too fast and would likely be pulled over if he didn’t slow down in time. He was going about 40 MPH in a 25 MPH neighborhood, So what did the man do? He slowed down. Not gradually, but suddenly in plain sight of the cop, who by this point was maybe fifty feet ahead.

Having regained control of his speed, the man decided that he had to drive as carefully as he could as he attempted to smoothly pass the cop car. Unfortunately for him as he passed the cop car, it pulled out of the spot where he had just been and began to drive directly behind him. Realizing this and assuming he was being followed, he decided to switch lanes but completed the transition sloppily without signaling. The cop car switched lanes also, but did not flash his red and blue lights, yet. Not knowing quite what to do, the man decided he would make a quick left turn around the corner and pull into a random driveway as a last ditch effort to fool the officer.

The man once again, hastily and sloppily executed a left hand turn as the cop put on his red and blue flashing lights. He knew the jig was up and would surely be caught. The man had some coke in the middle console of his car, so not knowing what else to do, swallowed the rocks and tossed the empty bag out of the window before making a full stop. The cop approached the window and asked “Sir, Do you know why I pulled you over?”. Nervously, the man said “No. I haven’t a clue, sir!”. “Well,” said the officer, “You slammed your breaks right in front of me, then suddenly slowed down like nothing happened. I wasn’t going to follow you until I noticed that you swerved into the next lane without signaling. And that last turn you made looked desperate”. The cop continued, “Then when I did pull you over, I saw you throw something out of the window and now your eyes are the size of quarters!”.

The lesson here is simple; sometimes the very things we do when we react to perceived danger, become the very things which create the exact circumstances we’re most afraid of. The irony of a paranoid mind is that it sometimes creates a self-fulfilling prophecy. Just like the addict who got pulled over, everything he did to control the situation only made it worse, right up until the very end when he got arrested, which was the thing he most feared.

The Rise Of Black Nationalist Movements

One of the most disturbing things you might find is the now defunct group known as “Black Hammer”, a pan-African, radical communist group that was lead by a man named Gazi Kodzo (real name Augustus Cornelius Romain Jr.). He had created what was essentially a small army of revolutionaries, composed of not only black individuals, but white subordinates who essentially, allowed themselves to be swallowed up by the radical cult, giving away their lives and all of their worldly possessions as reparations and vowing total loyalty to “the cause”. Gazi himself, said that he believed that whites and blacks should live separately, but also appeared to celebrate the idea of “White genocide”.

Althought Black Hammer eventually fell as the result of an FBI raid, such cases of “solidarity” can still be seen. Self-hating white people, self-hating men, self-hating straight people, consumed by guilt for their inherent sin of being part of “The Oppressor Class”. This victimhood mentality has created entitlement which has lead to real people being harmed. We can’t change how the past turned out, but we can try to make tomorrow better for everyone. Yet, this radicalization of LGBT people, Women and racial minorities have become themselves, the very thing that they supposedly wished to eliminate. If I knew how badly it hurt to step on a lego, I wouldn’t be happy to see someone else get hurt. Somewhere along the way, vengeance became the goal, not “Equality”.

The Longterm Consequences

When people in majority demographics who aren’t self-hating see these abominable acts of self-flagellation, it becomes difficult to not get radicalized. Not to feel intimidated by these race, gender and LGBT radicals and worried about your own rights and even your own safety. This creates the perfect conditions for people who would otherwise be on your side to gradually turn to ideologies that they feel might protect them. Ones that lean not just slightly right, but quite far to the right. The danger that comes from words like “Fascist” and “Nazi” is that they have been used to describe so many people, that they become meaningless. Now the real racists, homophobes, sexists and transphobes are hidden by the scapegoats of Leftists and Progressives who use these terms very liberally to describe anyone who deveates from them in the slightest.

Add to that the violence of Antifa radicals who appear to be volatile in nature and ready to destroy the lives and reputations of any perceived foe. The violence, the riots, the threats and the harassment breed silent resentment and eventually, the very facism such groups claim they are trying to combat. Combine this with the never ending victim narratives promoted by mainstream media outlets like CNN and certain online influencers. In my own textbooks, there are endless examples of minority demographics having faced discrimination, which while these examples are largely historically accurate, reinforce the narrative of victimhood. It almost seems like everything from entertainment to academia is curated to keep this narrative of eternal victimhood alive and well, deepening the cultural conflicts that already exist.

As the other side becomes more radical in response, it becomes harder to sympathize with them at a certain point, too. Either you agree that racism is “Based” or you are a “Commie”. For people like me, there are no safe havens. Left or Right, the cultural divide becomes too wide. I feel like I am doing the splits in the middle of a canyon, holding onto both sides for dear life, hoping I don’t eventually fall into total radicalization myself. Regardless of who does it, violence doesn’t force compliance regardless of who is threatening whom. Intimidation works only in the short term, but destroying another person doesn’t destroy their ideas. Just as weaponized victimhood worked in Anita Sarkeesian’s favor back in the day, a similar phenomenon could be observed again, this time for someone on the Right. The lesson here is simple: if you do not like someone, the last thing you should do is make them more in the right than they deserve to be! Concede the moral ground and you potentially lose everything. It’s not just a matter of ethics, but a reality of human nature.

As Sociology and history proves again and again, it only takes one stubborn deviant to change everything. One martyr and the whole world could change, practically overnight. Take Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for instance, his assassination only strengthened his message and ensured that his legacy would endure. A mind can change at any time for any reason, people change their minds all of the time, but when you change hearts, that’s when you have real power behind you! At this point, the Right has had Charlie Kirk as a Martyr while the Left have had George Floyd and countless others. It’s hard to say at this point who is changing the world more.

Reaction Theory

There’s a difference between “react” and “respond”. To respond to something is to act deliberately with a particular outcome in mind, to react is to be impulsive and rush progress, often with unintended consequences materializing as a result. I think we are stuck in a never ending cycle of each side constantly reacting to the other, with no room or effort put towards thinking. I think we’re dealing with two sides that are both scared of each other and so they don’t think, they only feel and react. Yet, I’m hypocritical in this regard as I admit I tend to have a difficult time maintaining emotional neutrality in my own life, so I think this is the right message but coming from the wrong person.

Sympathy Is A Limited Resource

Have you ever known someone that was always in a bad mood? Every time that you saw them, they had something or someone to complain about. Maybe when you first met them, you had pity for their situation and may have even tried to help. However, as we all know, some people for whatever reason, aren’t interested in trying to find the bright side or the silver lining for anything. As their negativity and sympathy baiting increases, your interest in investing more of your time and energy into them decreases. At some point, you have to pull away to protect your sanity, because it is clear that nothing you could do for them would ever be enough. They have decided that they are the victim of life. Why even bother trying to help someone like that? Why would you want to be around someone like that?

Toxic narcissists are compelled at every turn to suck the goodwill out of anyone who will pay them any mind. Their lust for being seen as right is unreasonable and pathological. Inevitably when they’ve overplayed their hand and they know they’ve been caught with their dicks in the cookie jar, they try to pull out, but their balls are already blue with embarassment, but with no signs of shame to be seen. No amount of social lubricant is enough for them to smoothly “pull out” of their predicament. They cum with envy for the ones who really do suffer. Their anguish is unique, their problem is more important anyone else’s-so much so that they’e managed to inherit the problems of their parents and grandparents and great grand parents and every ancestor of theirs that ever walked the earth. Even if they do have a point, you wouldn’t give it to them. It’s simply not worth justifying their need to be more victimized (i.e more important) than anyone else. Get in line, life is hard for everyone.

Trump Is A Piece Of Shit

While I can’t make any direct allegations, Trump being weirdly evasive about his potential involvement in the Epstein Files made me jump off the Trump train like I was skydiving out of a plane without a parachute. Prior to that, I liked him only because he pissed off people I don’t like. Now though, considering his odd behavior regarding Jeffrey Epstein, it’s impossible to stand by mister tangerine face, anymore. However, unlike many out there I will not spend every waking moment of my life complaining about him. I simply recognize him as a symptom of a disease that was years in the making.

The difference between myself and so many others is that I don’t have to state a fact until I’m blue in the face. I just say it once and move on with my life. Who are you trying to convince by saying it everyday, yourself? You should know by now that he just wants the attention and doesn’t care whether it’s good or bad. Stop feeding him your lunch, when you could be feeding and nourishing yourself instead. Elon is likely a piece of shit too, so is Bill Gates and of course Prince Andrew, yatta-fuckin’-yatta! You happy now? That’s not to say that if new information comes to light, it’s not worth discussing, just don’t let it take up too much of your day.
